Uppinangady : Rape accused arrested after 14 yrs

Uppinangady, Mar 22, 2018:  The local police have succeeding in arresting a rape case accused who was absconding  since the past 14 years.

The arrested person is Hitesh, a resident of Bethalappu in 34 Nekkilady village. He  along with another person named Girish was accused in the case of raping a  woman right in front of her husband and  children, after barging into their house at Karaya in Belthangady taluk in 2004.

Hithesh  was  arrested from Bengaluru after police gathered information regarding his whereabouts.
