Unique drive against drug abuse held in Manipal

Manipal, August 26, 2018: A unique drive against drug abuse "Say No to Drugs : Selfie with  Signature" was organised at the  Kanara Mall at Manipal on August 25, Saturday under the joint aegis of the Udupi District Police Department, District Working Journalists’ Union and Udupi Press Club. Sri Esha Priya Theertha Swamiji, the Junior Pontiff of  Udupi Admar Mutt, Rev Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese and Imranulla Khan Mansoori,  Religious Head of Aboobakker Siddiqui Jamia Masjid  blessed the occasion.

District Superintendent of Police Lakshman Nimbargi, award winning actor Vijay Mallya, Udupi District Working Journalists Union President Ganesh Prasad Pandelu and others were present.

The Junior seer of Admar Mutt  walked along with hundreds of students  for six kms  upto the function venue as part of the event.
