Union Minister Oscar inaugurates Crystal Jubilee fete of Al Badriya institutions

Mangalore, Jan 12, 2014: The Crystal Jubilee celebrations of Al Badriya institutions of Katipalla Krishnapura and the new building of the Al Badriya Pre-Primary School were inaugurated on January 11, Saturday by Union Minister for Surface Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes.

Speaking on the occasion, Oscar said  teachers and parents go a long way in bringing out the latent talents in students and lauded the role played by Al-Badriya institutions in  shaping the future of students.

State Forest Minister and DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai released a souvenir entitled ‘Sphatika Kirana’ on the occasion.

BA Moidin Bava, MLA of Mangalore North, presided over the function. Vinaykumar Sorake, Urban Development Minister, BA Moidin, former minister, Vijaykumar Shetty, former MLA, Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Chairman of Yenepoya Group,  BM Mumtaz Ali, President of Al-Badriya institutions and several others were present.
