Unemployed youth commits suicide

Udupi, May 30, 2016: According to the police,  a youth committed suicide at his house allegedly over a trivial issue at Kavadi village coming under Kota police station limits on  May 28, Saturday night.


chethan Chethan (22) had the habit of consuming alcohol. He was also depressed at not getting any job.

At about 10 p.m. on the fateful evening,  while watching television, he quarrelled with his younger brother Sharat on the issue of television remote control.

In a fit of anger, he went and committed suicide by hanging himself in the house. Later, his family members  lowered him down and rushed him to Pranav Hospital in Brahmavar, where doctors pronounced him dead. A case of unnatural death has been registered.
