Informing this to reporters here, Committee leader and  Human Rights activist Haneef Saheb Pajapalla said the illegal construction has come up on the 69 cents land on survey number 670/1 near the Golikatta Bazar in Bunder. He further alleged that the building has been constructed spending  crores of rupees by a person with whom the  Mutavalli of Bunder Kachi Jumma Masjid had entered into an internal understanding.

The land has been registered in the name of Wakf Board in  1968 and though it was a property of the Wakf  the Mutavalli had claimed that this was his ancestral  property, Haneef said. He has also rented out the  rooms adjacent to the Kachi Masjid for lower rates through an internal  adjustment with tenants, alleged  Hameed.
