Ullal TMC Chief Officer’s son among two arrested for chain snatching

Mangaluru, Dec 28, 2016:  Ullal TMC Chief Officer’s son was among the two youth arrested by the police in connection with chain snatching incidents. The arrests were made near the Ganapathi High School Cross Road on December 27, Tuesday.

Three gold chains worth Rs 2.26 lakhs and two Honda Activa scooters have been recovered from them.

The arrested are  Maroli resident Vimarsh Alva(21),  son of Ullal TMC Chief Officer Vani Alva and Shahil Hussain(21) of Pandeshwar.

Both were wanted in the   chain snatching incident reported from Moodbidri on December 13 and at Madyar in Ullal on December 25.

Mangaluru North Police are investigating the case.
