Udyavar woman dies, husband, daughter injured in car-truck collision at Bhatkal

Udupi, Oct 17, 2023: A woman from Udyavar lost her life while her husband and daughter sustained minor injuries when the car in which they were travelling  collided with a truck at Bhatkal on October 17, Tuesday.

 

The deceased woman is Rita D’Souza. Her husband Xavier Raj D’Souza and daughter Inrika have been injured. The family was on way to Goa when tragedy struck. The truck that was involved in the mishap was heading towards Murdeshwar from Mangaluru.

Rita who was critically injured was rushed to the hospital, but her life could not be saved.
