Udupi’s new DC Hephsiba Rani Korlapati assumes office

Udupi, Feb 07, 2019: Udupi district’s new Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati assumed office on February 7, Thursday. The new appointment was made consequent upon the transfer of  the incumbent Priyanka Mary Francis who is now posted as Director, Department of Tourism in Bengaluru.

 

The new DC Hephsiba hitherto held the post of Managing Director of Special Purpose Vehicle, Hubballi-Dharwad.

An IAS officer of the 2011 batch, Hephsiba hails from Vijayavada in Andhra Pradesh. She has a BA degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad and  MA in Geography from Delhi School of Economics.

A 20th rank holder in IAS exam, she has earlier served as Assistant Commissioner of Basavakalyan in Bidar district.
