Udupi origin IAS officer is Kodagu’s new DC

Mangaluru, June 1, 2016 : Richard Vincent D’Souza, an IAS officer of Udupi origin, has been appointed the new Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu district.

He was earlier serving as Chief Executive Officer of Raichur Zilla Panchayat.

Richard is a Ph.D degree holder  from Bengaluru University for his thesis ’A study of attitudes and risk taking behaviour of drivers for road safety management.’

He has also served as Additional Commissioner in Transport Department. Richard is the son  of late Urban D’Souza and Rita D’Souza of Mudarangady in Udupi district.
