Udupi holds it’s breath as Canadian escapes

Udupi, Feb 20, 2015:  Dean Gunnarson, Canadian escape artiste, performed a small escape act at a felicitation function, organised by the Gili Gili Magic troupe, at Rajangana here on Feb.18, Wednesday. The Canadian is here to perform the ‘Buried Alive’ escape act on Feb 21, Saturday.

In the act at Rajangana, the stunt man’s  hands and neck were tied with a chain, which was locked with three locks. But within minutes, Dean Gunnarson wriggled out of the chains, to the audience’s applause. There was a magic performance by Professor Shankar, Junior Shankar and their Gili Gili Magic troupe, ‘Glow Art’ by Vinay Hegde from Bengaluru, ‘Acrobatic Ballet’ by the Bhargavi troupe and the ‘Huli Vesha’ dance.

Vidyavallabha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Kaniyur Mutt and Vidyasagar Tirtha Swami of Krishnapur Mutt, were present in the midst of an enthusiastic audience.
