Udupi: Yakshagana artiste Hudagodu Chandrahasa collapses to death on stage

Udupi, Mar 11, 2019: A prominent Yakshagana artiste Hudagodu Chandrahasa (52) collapsed to death following a heart attack while performing  on stage  at Jogibettu village of Byndoor on March 10, Sunday night.

Chandrahasa who was of Uttara Kannada origin was a famed artiste of the Badaguthittu form of Yakshagana.

He was performing the role of Salva in the Yakshagana organised by the Jalavalli Mela in Jogibettu.  Though  he was immediately rushed to the hospital  he had  breathed his last by then.
