Udupi: Woman dies, husband critical in car-lorry collision

Udupi, June 1, 2015: A woman from Udyavar who was travelling in a car lost her life while her husband sustained critical injuries when the car in which they were travelling rammed against the rear end of a   lorry  in front of the Reliance Petrol Bunk at Ambalpady on May 31, Sunday.

The deceased is Sowmya Shenoy (37). Her husband Radhakrishna Shenoy  who has  been injured has been hospitalised.

The lorry driven by Shivanna of Holenarasipur in Hassan  district was heading towards Udupi from Mangaluru when the mishap took place. The Udupi traffic police have registered a case as per the complaint lodged by the lorry driver.
