Udupi, Dec 21, 2015:  Shivamogga MP and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that there was no point in blaming the Prime Minister for everything.

B S Yeddyurapp...

Yeddyurappa who was speaking to reporters here on December 20, Sunday,  was apparently referring to the National Herald case over which the Congress has been raising a clamour.

Continuing, the former CM  said he was confident of his party  winning 15 out of the 20 seats in the upcoming elections to the State Legislative Council.

Slamming the Siddaramaiah Government in the state,  he said there has been no development, though the  state government was claiming otherwise.  Even the Rs 11,770 crore sanctioned in the budget for the SC/ST development, has not been utilised fully, Yeddyurappa alleged.

The announcements made in the budget too are not being implemented, he  complained. Yeddyurappa was also critical of the state government plans to permit 1700 bars and said the government however has not taken steps to fill vacancies in schools and hospitals.

Shobha Karandlaje, MP, Lalaji Mendon, former MLA and others were present.
