Udupi: Unidentified miscreants rob gold bars worth Rs 45 lakhs

Udupi, May 26, 2020:  A man who is engaged in the profession of melting old gold ornaments and converting them into bars has lodged a complaint at the town police station here alleging that two  unidentified persons had robbed   bag gold bars weighing 1,227 grams and worth nearly Rs 45 lakh during the wee hours of May 25, Monday.

 

The  complainant Vijay Jadhav in his complaint  stated that the incident took place when he was opening his shop located on the second floor of Lakshmi Trade Centre near Beedinagudde at around 5.30 am on Monday.

Investigations are underway.
