Udupi: Two youths die in bike-lorry mishap at Puttige

Udupi, March 16, 2018: Two youths died after their motorcycle came under the wheels of a speeding lorry at Puttige, near to Hiriyadka on Friday, March 16th. The errant driver fled from the scene along with lorry.

A biker and his pillion passenger were killed in the collision are identified as Varun Rao (22) and Vishwas Ballal (21).

Meanwhile, a bus bus fell into a gorge after trying to avoid the coalition with lorry. The occupants in the bus suffered minor injuries.

The police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
