Udupi: Three held, country-made bombs recovered

Udupi, Nov 22, 2017 : The police arrested three persons have  recovered  country-made bombs at Albadi near Shankernaryana on November 21, Tuesday.

Nagesh Nayak (35) of Hebri, Gunakar Shetty(56) and Laxman Shetty(67)of Ardi are identified as the arrested.


On recieving information Hebri police team swung into action waylid the two-wheelers passing through this path , on noticing torch and knife the police grew suspicious took Nagesh Nayak along with the two into custody. During investigation they revealed he fact the country bombs were used to hunt the wild animals. Police have seized 30 country bombs, the materials used in making bombs and  a knife from the accused.

Investigations are in progress.
