Udupi: Teenager ends life by hanging herself

Udupi, Dec 20, 2016: A teenager ends her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her house at Bidalkatte  in Udupi on December 20, Tuesday. She leaves behind a death note saying ‘Sorry’ to her parents and younger brother.

Kavana(17) , Daughter of Ramachandra Achar of Bidalkatte in Udupi. She was pursuing her of II PU at a private tutorial in Kundapur.

Family says that Kavana did not come for tea in this morning; there was no response from her as they called her. Her father informed the neighbour who immediately approached. They were worried and broke opened the door. To their shock saw Kavana had hanging from ceiling fan using. She was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead.

The reason for the extreme step is not known. Kavana is survived by her parents and younger brother.

Kota police are investigating the case.
