Udupi, Sep 17, 2016: As the businessman Bhasker Shetty murder case is slowly fading from public memory some other pictures are emerging regarding the case.
The two buildings which Shetty had owned in Udupi have several tenants. Meanwhile late Shetty had an outstanding loan of Rs 6.5 crores. Finance firms which had extended loans to Shetty are now contacting his family which has still not recovered from the shock. Though the family of Shetty had reportedly contacted the tenants, many have said they did not know to whom to remit the rent and that they would take a decision after a meeting of all tenants.
Meanwhile, the bone pieces said to be that of Shetty which had been sent for forensic examination confirmed to be that of humans. However it is not yet clear as to whether they were Bhasker Shetty’s bones. It is said the tests may taken another ten days.
Meanwhile the CID which has taken custody of the accused priest Niranjan has further intensified the investigations.
