Made Snana

Prior to the ritual, nearly 100 people had meals in the Mutt premises. A  scholar  of the Mutt clarified that the ritual was  held as per the wishes and beliefs of the devotees. He also stated that devotees offered Made Snana in the Mutt since  five centuries.

One of the devotees who had offered the  Seve said he had been offering Made Snana since 12 years and that  it had proved beneficial to him as far as his health was concerned. He also reiterated that he would offer Made Snana in the coming years too.

In the meantime, the Yede Snana Seve was offered by devotees by rolling over Prasadam offered to the Lord at the Muchilkodu Subrahmanya Temple of Kukkikatte. This shrine  is under the management of Pejawar Mutt and it was Pejawar seer himself who had mooted the idea of holding Yede Snana instead of the controversial Made Snana practice.
