Udupi : Saloon worker found dead in lodge; suicide suspected

Udupi, Aug 2, 2015:  A youth who was working in a saloon was found dead in a lodge in Udupi on August 1, Saturday. Police suspect this to be a case of suicide.

The deceased youth is  Satyajith alias Jeethu (24) from Badagabettu.  The suspicion is that he might have consumed alcohol laced with poison.

Sources said Satyajith along with his friend Pramod Manoj Kumar had rented the room on July 31, Friday.

Satyajith is learnt to have chosen the extreme step when Manoj went away.

Manoj, it is said did not return to the lodge. He has now been taken into custody for interrogation.

Further investigations are in progress.
