Udupi SP Annamalai’s novel initiative- A cycle rally for cops

Kundapur, April 4, 2016 : As many as 28 people  including police personnel and lecturers from Manipal Institute of Technology  participated in a cycle rally which proceeded from Shiroor  to Byndoor on April 3, Sunday.

The rally was an initiative  of Udupi SP Annamalai who is trying to find ways and means to  ensure that the police personnel get a  break from their hectic life through some pleasurable activities. The rallyists were provided cycles by St. Antony Cycle Company.

Speaking to press persons at Kundapur where the cyclists stopped for breakfast, SP Annamalai said  cycling goes a long way in energising an individual and also in helping him develop a positive attitude towards life.

  Among those who participated  include  Udupi DySP and  employees  of St Antony Cycle Company.
