Udupi: Rowdy-sheeter arrested under Goonda Act

Udupi, Aug 08, 2017 : A notorious rowdy sheeter booked under Goonda Act was arrested  by Hiriadka police on August 08, Tuesday.

 

The accused is Diwaker Achary resident of  of Kudi village in Hiriadka.


According to the police Diwaker  was a wanted criminal in murder case of Sheik Mohammed Tasneem, who was found dead in a car at Ontibettu in July 2016. There were several  cases against him.

Hence, the Deputy Commissioner of Udupi Priyanka Mary on the reports   by Udupi district superintendent of police K T Balakrishna has ordered  to arrest Diwaker under the Goonda Act.  Investigations are in progress
