Udupi: Priyanka Mary Francis is the new Udupi ZP CEO

Udupi, Nov 19 2015: Priyanka Mary Francis has assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Udupi Zilla Panchayat November 17. She took charge from outgoing CEO, M Kanagavalli, who has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Koppal district.

Priyanka, an IAS officer of the 2009 batch, holds a degree in Electronics Engineering (Instrumentation). She has earlier served as the Chief Executive Officer of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat.

After her IAS exams, she joined as the assistant commissioner of Belgaum district. She was later promoted as the commissioner of Belgaum.

ZP president Savitha Kotian, standing committee president Gowri Devadiga, Deputy Commissioner Dr R Vishal, SP of Udupi Annamalai and others were present.
