Udupi:Pejawar Math website hacked alleges Swamiji

Udupi, Oct 15, 2016: Udupi Town police has registered complaint from Krishna Math regarding the hacking of official website  of Temple by Pakistan-based hackers. Pakistani flag was seen in the middle of the wesite. It had caused embarrassment to the police department.


math 15 oct 16The official website of Pejwar Math seems to be the latest victim of hackers claiming to be from Pakistan, after India’s surgical strike last week. They have started targeting the religious places in our country.  It may be recalled  that Pejawar seer Vishwesha Thirtha Swami, a staunch supporter of Hinduism, had appreciated Narendra Modi for the surgical attack in Pak Occupied Kashmir area.

Police suspect that it could be one of the reasons for the temple website hacking.

The math authorities have now blocked the website and are trying to restore it with the help of technicians. Cyber Crime division  said that wesite has come to normal.

Investigations are underway.
