Udupi: Miraculous escape for car driver in ghastly mishap

Udupi, Sep 06, 2019:  The driver of a car had a miraculous escape in a road accident wherein the car  was badly mangled after it  rammed against the divider and hit  an electric pole  on the National Highway near Karavali bypass on September 6, Friday morning. The impact of the collision was such that the electric pole has pierced through the car.

According to eyewitnesses, the car was overspeeding and was heading towards Udupi from Santhekatte. The driver Anand Padmanabhan who sustained minor injuries has been hospitalised.
