Udupi: Man held on charges of raping minor girl

Udupi, Apr 08, 2017 : Kota police have arrested  53 year old man on cahrges of raping a 8 year old girl at Bidkalkatte in Udupi.

The accused is identified as Ramdas Prabhu (53).The victim is admitted to Manipal Hospital her condition is said to be stable  .

 

A case has been registered against Ramdas Prabhu  under  Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act(POSCO). He was produced before court and remanded a judicial custody for 14 days.

Investigations are underway .
