Udupi: Man commits suicide by jumping in front of train

Udupi: September 16, 2015: A 35-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a speeding train near Brahmawar in Udupi on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Prahakar Shetty from Kavadi Harvalu at Herady

According to the sources Shetty was working in Bengaluru had returned to his native place recently.  He had married two years back and was a father of one-year-old child. The reason behind his extreme step is not known.

Passerby on Wednesday noticed a body lying on the track and informed the police. The police arrived at the spot and investigated.

The body was taken for the autopsy and was later handed over to his relatives
