Udupi : Man arrested for stealing cash from car of DCIB sleuths

Udupi, July 30, 2020:    Police have arrested a notorious thief on the charges of stealing cash from a parked  car of  DCIB sleuths. The accused  was arrested near the KSRTC bus stand of Udupi on July 29, Wednesday.

Police have also seized a cash of Rs 2,03,700 from the accused, a mobile phone and other valuables. He  has admitted  during interrogation that he had stolen cash from the  car  belonging to DCIB sleuths near Clock Tower in Mangaluru.

Udupi Town Police are investigating the case.
