Udupi: Man allegedly kills wife over petty dispute

Udupi, Jul 23, 2018 : A woman was allegedly murdered by her husband over petty dispute at their  residence at Heroor in Udupi on July 23, Monday evening.

 

The deceased is identified as Girija Poojary(52) wife of Raju Poojary , a labourer.

As per the reports Raju Poojary and wife Girija had a fight on Monday evening. In a fit of rage he stabbed his wife with a sickle. Girija was gravely injured and breathed her last. Raju Poojary is absconding since the incident.

Brahmavar police have registered th case.
