Udupi: LPG tanker fatally knocks down pedestrian

Udupi, Feb 1, 2015 : An LPG tanker  fatally knocked down a pedestrian at Santhekatte here on January 31, Saturday. The deceased is Umesh (43), a resident of Nejar.

Umesh was crossing the road when the tanker  from Mangaluru which was heading towards a petrol bunk   hit him. Umesh died  on the spot. He was working in the local court.

A relative of Umesh who has lodged a complaint  has alleged that the LPG tanker was over speeding resulting in the mishap.

Traffic police have registered a case.
