Udupi: Kumta fisherman missing

Udupi 9 Oct, 2015: A group of fisherman ventured into the sea from shore on October 8, Thursday. They noticed that one among them went missing, as they were on their way back after fishing activity.

The missing person is identified as Babu Ramakrishna Harikanth. He is 21 years old and a resident Kumta.

It is said that Harikanth along with his team Shanker, Vittal, Nishanth, Suresh and Purushottam ventured into the sea for fishing. On their way back to Kumta Harikanth went missing from the fishing boat. It is alleged that Harikanth might have fallen into the sea accidentally.

The Malpe police are investigating the case.
