Udupi : KSDL’s first ever ’Soap Santhe’ inaugurated

Udupi, Oct 16, 2015 :  A unique soap fair named ’Soap Santhe’ was organised  at the Government Junior College premises at Udupi on October 16, Friday under the aegis of  Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited which would be  stepping into its 100th year in 2016. As many as 38 varieties of soaps were on display  for sale at discounted prices during the exhibition.

 

 

 

Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj inaugurated the exhibition. In his address he stressed the need to promote the brand  in Udupi by opening a franchise.

Veronica Cornelio from Udupi who is the chairperson of the firm presided over the function. She said  said there were plans to open retail outlets of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited in the near future.

Former MP Jayaprakash Hegde was present as a chief guest. Udupi CMC Preisdent Yuvaraj,  Udupi Town Planning Authority Chairman Janardhan Thonse, Udupi CMC Commissioner Manjunathaiah, AC Keshavamurthy, Managing Director of KSDL and others were present.
