Udupi Journalists submit memorandum against Deputy Commissioner Dr Vishal

Udupi: July 30, 2015: Unhappy with the Deputy Commissioner over not providing adequate information to the media personals, the District Working Journalist Union submitted a memorandum to Udupi District in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake on Thursday

In the memorandum, the journalist stated that the Deputy Commissioner was arrogant and did not provide them with adequate information when asked. During the time of Gram Panchyat election, he failed to give the exact information about the election.

The previously appointed DC provided important information to media personals. While the current DC has failed to respond positively they claimed.

The memorandum was also sent to Chief Minister Siddaramiah, information minister Rosshan Baig, CM’s media advisor Dinesh Amin Mattu and State journalist assoication president Dr. N Raju.

UVJU President Jayakrana Suvarna, General Seceretary Ganesh Prasad, Treasurer Rajesh Shetty, Sports Seceretary Nazeer Polya and others were present while handing over the memorandum
