Udupi : Fishing expedition with friend turns tragic; youth drowns

Udupi, April 10, 2017:  Twenty four year old Prajwal Shetty (24), a resident of Nadipatna  is feared drowned while fishing  in the sea  at Padubidri on April 9, Sunday. It is learnt Prajwal had ventured into fishing along with his friend when he was carried away by strong waves.

His family members were away at a wedding function when the tragedy occurred. Search is underway for Prajwal’s body.

Padubidri police are investigating the case.
