Udupi: Elderly woman found murdered

Udupi, July 7, 2019: An 80 year old woman who was living all alone in her house at  Puttur Subrahmanya Nagar near here has been found murdered. The body of the woman  was  decomposed and the suspicion is that she might have been eliminated at least three to four days ago.

The thieves it is believed might have killed her for monetary gains. The murdered woman is Ratnavathi G Shetty.  The old woman’s gold chain, bangles and earrings were missing according to the complaint lodged by her daughter.

There is also a needle of suspicion on a young couple who are tenants in the old woman’s house.
