Udupi Diocese holds annual Eucharistic procession with great devotion

Udupi, Nov 26, 2018: The annual Eucharistic procession of the Udupi Diocese  was held at Kalianpur on November 25,  Sunday with great devotion. Earlier,  the Holy Eucharistic Mass held at the Mount Rosary Church at Santhekatte  was led by Udupi Diocese Bishop  Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo. Priests from various churches of the Diocese were the concelebrants. The Adoration of the Holy Eucharist was conducted by Fr Royson Fernandes.

Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo in his address appreciated the sacrifices of the Faithful towards  spreading the message of Christ and towards World Mission Sunday. He also stated that the Eucharistic procession has been held with great devotion.

 Parishes which made highest contribution  towards the World Mission Sunday-2008 were awarded prizes on the occasion.

Fr Lawrence D’Souza, Rector, Milagres Cathedral, Dr Baptist Menezes, Vicar General, Fr Stany B Lobo, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese and others were present.
