Udupi : DC hails services of civic workers

Udupi, Sep 24, 2020:    Udupi Deputy  Commissioner G Jagadeesh has hailed the role of municipal workers in keeping the city clean through their dedicated efforts.

 

He was speaking after  felicitating outstanding civic workers   during the Civic Workers Day celebrations at the Mini Auditorium of Udupi Town Hall on September 24, Wednesday.

The DC said Udupi which is presently in the ninth spot in the state in the Swachha Sarvekshan Ranking  intends to be a part of the top three  cities in the next year.

A memorandum enlisting various  demands of the civic workers was handed over to the DC on the occasion.

CMC Commissioner Anand Kallolikar, Health Inspector Karunaker and others were present.
