Udupi DC felicitated teaching staff

Udupi, May 14, 2015 : The district administration felicitated education department staff of Udupi district, as the district got first place in the SSLC examinations  2014-15.  Udupi DC on the occasion promised to extend support to the department of public instructions to carry forward the work to improve the results.

The DC said that top scorers in each taluk will be felicitated. Top scorers in Koraga community, SC/ST communities will also be felicitated.

DDPI Diwakar Shetty said that teachers have worked two hours extra daily to improve the results. Along with this, the teachers have made the weak students to study in school in the month of March.

Motivational camps helped a total of 11,700 students. In the motivational camp held for the teachers, a total of 1,000 teachers were benefited. Every month, the performance of the students were evaluated and target was fixed to improve the results, he added.

Every year, Baindur Block was securing the lowest results. This year, with the effort of the teachers, the pass percentage has increased.
