Udupi : Cops destroy 32 kg ganja seized in 17 cases

Udupi, March 04, 2020:   In accordance to court orders,  the  Cyber Crime, Economic Offences and Narcotics Police Station of Udupi District as well as the authorities of the Manipal and Udupi town police stations have destroyed as much as 32.84 kg ganja seized in  connection with 17 drug peddling cases. The ganja was destroyed  at the Ayush Envirotech Pvt Ltd located in Nandikur Industrial Area of Padubidri.

 

 

 

Senior police officials including Udupi SP  Vishnuvardhan who is also the chief of the Ganja Disposal Committee, Karkala DySP T R Jaishanker who is also the Committee Member, Kaup  Circle Inspector Mahesh  Prasad and others were present.
