Udupi:Clash between 2 brothers culminates in murder

Udupi, April 21, 2015:  A clash between two brothers culminated in the murder of one of them at Kambalabettu of  Moodubettu in Kodavoor Madhwanagar.The person who was killed is Prakash Acharya (32). He was allegedly  killed by his own younger brother Umesh Acharya (28) by hitting him with a wooden club. A case has been registered in Malpe police station.

 

Sources said the deceased Prakash Acharya was a mason and was facing murder charges in Karkala and Malpe police station limits. Police had also opened a rowdy sheet against him.

The accused Umesh is an autorickshaw driver and a mason. He was said to be an alcoholic and used to waste money in different vices. The two brothers,their mother, Prakash’s wife Umashree and daughter were staying in the house.

Police are on the lookout for the accused who is absconding.
