Udupi : Chain snatcher duo nabbed

Udupi, April 14, 2014 :  Two   chain  snatchers  who were involved in several theft cases have been arrested by the police on April 13, Sunday.  Gold valuables weighing 150 gram, two motor bikes and a Maruti Omni vehicle have been seized.

The arrested are Prakash Devadiga (32) and Raviraj Devadiga (28) from Heroor. Of them, Raviraj is an electrician while Prakash worked as a labourer. Police said they used to rob people including churchgoers in several places in Karkala and Shirva. Senior citizens and women were their targets.

Three teams had been formed by the police to nab the duo.
