Udupi: CM says Rahul Gandhi to visit Karnataka

Udupi, May 05, 2015: Taliking to media Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  said that  as the State government is in the process of getting ready for the forthcoming gram panchayat polls and does not want to divert from this.

SiddaramaiahHe went on to say  JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy pictures he is the only person  who is concerned about  the farmers, which is a white lie. He also indicated even Rahul Gandhi may also come to State to attend to the grievances of farmers.

He said he would examine factors that would revive  Brahmavar sugarcane factory, but no hasty  decision will result, there is a need for deeper study into the situation, the possibilities of reviving the factory would be explored. The holistic matters need to be first examined.

He refused comments on the proposed Tiger Reserve in the Kudremukh Wild Life division. He reiterated that Minor Irrigation Minister has held the meeting over the Yettinahole project and the allegations that the people are kept in the dark. He also added that the Directors list for the various Nigama Mandali appointments is being prepared.
