Udupi : Bodies of mising father-daughter found in open well

Udupi, Aug 31,2017 : In a tragic incident,  a 40 year old man and his 8 year old daughter who were missing since August 30, were found dead in an open well at Badanidiyoor of Malpe police station limits on August 31, Thursday.

The deceased are Sharath and Kannika.

It is said both  who  had gone to sleep after dinner on August 29 night were found missing the next morning to the dismay of Sharath’s wife.  A missing complaint was filed and an intensive search was launched for the two. Their bodies were eventually traced this morning.

Sharath who earlier worked in the Gulf had returned home town three years ago. Kannika was a third standard student in an English medium school.

The exact cause of their death is  yet  to be known. Malpe police are investigating the case.
