Udupi : B.V. Karanth Memorial Natl. Drama Fest concludes

Udupi, Dec 22, 2014:  The three-day long B.V. Karanth  Memorial National Drama Festival concluded  here on December 21, Sunday. The Festival was organised by the BV Karanth Ranga Pratishtana of Bengaluru, Babukodi Trust, MGM College and Rangabhoomi.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, eminent thinker and scholar Lakshmish Thilpady  said lat BV Karanth brought about a significant change in the theatrical field with the incorporation of music in dramas.

Dr H Shantharam, Administrative Officer of Manipal Academy and Honorary President of Rangabhoomi presided over the function. Heranje Krishna Bhat, Director of Govind Pai Research Centre,  Jayaram Patil, Managing Trustee of the B.V. Karanth Ranga Pratishtana, KG  Krishnamurthi, Trustee, and several others were present.
