Udupi : 4 teenagers escape from remand home; 1 trapped in Kadri

Udupi, April 2, 2013 :  Four teenagers who were lodged in the remand home at Doddanagudde, have escaped on April 1, Monday.

The boys namely Gopi(17),  Ibrahim (15), Narayan(17) and Prasad(17) hailing from Rajasthan, Moodbidri, Byndoor and Hassan respectively,  were arrested some time back on the charges of theft.

 Luckily, one of them was traced the same day near Kadri in Mangalore. The police are expected to hand him over to the Udupi police. Police are now on the look-out for the other three missing boys.

Sources said  the four had broken the window grills of the remand home and had escaped. This incident  place after they entered into a quarrel with the security guard over some issue.
