Uchila man succumbs to Covid-19 in Abu Dhabi

Mangaluru, May 19, 2020:   A resident of  Uchila Kotepura in Someshwara who is also a member of Abu Dhabi KCF unit passed away at a hospital in Abu Dhabi due to Covid-19 infection on Sunday.

 

He was working as a driver in the Abu Dhabi transport division for the past 25 years.  The man who had come hometown in November last year had returned on January 10. Though he had confined himself to his accommodation due to lockdown, he had contracted fever on April 28. However, when the fever did not subside, he  was admitted to the hospital. His test confirmed  that he was Covid-19 positive after he was under treatment at the hospital for ten days. His last rites were performed at the Abu Dhabi mosque.
