Two youth drown in Seethanadi

Kota, May 18, 2018 : Two cousins who had stepped into the Seethanadi lake at Avarse for a swim have met a watery grave on May 17, Thursday afternoon.

The deceased are Kiran Poojary (22), son of  Parvathi of  Manikallu and  Vikram Poojary (22).  Both are cousins. Both had been to a relative’s house at Avarse for lunch at around 12.30 noon. They had then decided to step into the Seethanadi for a swim when they accidentally drowned.

 

When family members on realising  that they two were not to be seen, searched around when they found the  clothes of the two on the banks of the river. The bodies were later retrieved. If Vikram Poojary was a private bus conductor, Kiran worked in a hotel at Saibarakatte. Kota Police have registered a case.
