Two killed in bus-car collision near Thokkottu

Mangalore, May 18: Two persons were killed in a collision between a government bus and a car at Naganakatte near Thokkottu coming under the Ullal police station limits at around 6.30 am on Wednesday, May 18.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The deceased has been identified as Mayyaddi (36) and Moosa (36), residents of Manjeshwar.

According to the Ullal police, the car was moving from Manjeshwar to City  while the government bus was moving in the opposite direction from Mangalore to Kasargod, when the accident took place at Thokkottu.

They have been admitted in a private hospital in Mangalore since they were not given treatment at the Thokkotu Hospital.

A case has been registered with Ullal police station and investigation is on.
