Two-day Gomandala begins at Nehru Maidan

Mangaluru, Dec 07, 2019:  A two-day special event called Gomandala- a cattle show organised in connection with the 20th anniversary of Pajir Beejaguri Govanithashraya Trust  has begun at the Nehru Maidan on Saturday. The event   has been attracting a lot of people.  The 100 cows and calves being reared by the Trust at its Kapila, Amritha, Ganga and Gauri sheds have been brought to the venue.  Go Pooja was also offered to all the cattle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A special attraction of the event is a model of the Shree Rama Mandir to be built at Ayodhya. The model is a creation of Rohith, the drawing teacher of Sharada Vidyalaya.  A model of the Tulunad folk art Kambala, a model of huge Shivalinga, a six feet  long Nandi too are attracting the people.

A Shree Krishna Vesha contest for children was also organised for children as part of the event.
