Two day Alva’s Pragati mega job fair from today

Moodbidri, June 24, 2017: The 9th edition of Alva’s Pragati, a two-day mega job fair, is set to start at Moodbidri today june 24, Saturday with the organisers expecting participation from over 15,000 job seekers.

 

To be held at Sundari Anand Alva campus in Vidyagiri, Alva’s Pragati will witness participation of job aspirants from neighbouring states too it was said. At the same time, more than 200 companies are expected to attend the fair to choose right talent.

Alva’s Education Foundation has opened an information centre to provide information to candidates even as query centres are opened to clear their doubts. More than 1,500 volunteers would help the smooth conduct of the fair.

The release quoted Foundation Trust Vivek Alva as saying the fair would offer job opportunities in IT, ITES, manufacturing, sales, banking, hospitality, NGOs and education sectors. Graduate and postgraduate candidates from medical, para-medical, engineering, humanities, commerce, management, basic science, nursing, ITI, diploma and other categories can find right opportunities in the fair.

Minister of State for Sports and Youth Empowerment Pramod Madhwaraj will inaugurate the fair at 9.30 a.m. while K. Abhayachandra Jain, MLA, will preside over the programme.
